You know that Yoga is good for your health. I also knew that when I decided to take that up. But nothing could really have prepared me for the amazing health benefits that were in store for me! Not only did I suddenly start feeling more full of energy, but I started sleeping better at night!
I used to have a tough time concentrating in class, but even that seemed to become a thing of the past! I started losing weight as well. But then smack in the middle of all these amazing benefits that I was getting, I attended an important yoga and healthy living workshop. And what I heard and found out there was to give my life a 360 degree spin.
What I learnt was this:
Yoga alone will do me well, but it can never give me all the health I have always wanted! I wanted glowing rosy skin, shiny bouncy hair… I wanted to be happy from inside and I wanted to stop taking pills and visiting the doc! And I learnt that Saturday evening, sitting in that lecture, that along with my Yoga, I needed to do two other things as well…
Now you must be wondering what other things – well here they are:
- First and foremost, I learnt that I need to eat healthy, natural and organic food to eliminate toxins.
- Second that I needed to include superfoods in my diet – because that’s where real health comes from!
So, what do you think I did the next day? I threw out all the packaged food from my pantry, signed up for a farmer’s fresh produce program and brought home a manual wheatgrass juicer. And thereafter I changed the way I looked at and thought about food. And you will not believe it, but it’s been a few years and I have never before been better!
